University of Pennsylvania
Location: Philadelphia museum extension
Like the fusion of water and fire, this project explores the intermediate zone and the idea of fusion, which provides a place for the reshuffle. Neither black nor white, it is grey. The project intertwined the moment when outdoor meet indoor, the history and the future collapse, and the void interacts with the solid and forming a third topology. These programmable spaces can allow the entrance of light, and freeform of circulation, which gives the audience an immersive spatial experience is a place for fun, study, immersion. Within the space, there are no imposed physical or psychological constraints upon its occupants.
Cross Section A: The slope from the PMA to the museum will create a visual continuity from Aqualava’s viewing platform.
Interior Void Space: The transparent quality of the material allows entry of sunlight from the roof to the basement, creating a vague and undefine space.
